Introduction
PT Mataraman is expanding its network infrastructure across the East Java region and is seeking a dedicated Teknisi Jaringan Wi‑Fi to join the field team. This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and optimization of fiber‑optic (FO) cabling and Wi‑Fi Access Points (AP) in both new and existing sites. The successful candidate will work on projects in Ponorogo, Madiun, and other locations where the company is establishing its next‑generation wireless coverage. The position demands a hands‑on technician who is comfortable working at height, possesses a strong technical foundation, and can thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Pull and route fiber‑optic (FO) cables from central distribution points to designated endpoint locations, ensuring proper bend radius and protection.
- Install, configure, and dismantle Wi‑Fi Access Points, performing site surveys to guarantee optimal coverage and signal strength.
- Perform splicing of FO cables, using fusion or mechanical splicing tools, and test splice loss to meet industry standards.
- Organize and label all cabling neatly, maintaining clear documentation for future troubleshooting and upgrades.
- Conduct pre‑deployment and post‑deployment testing, including OTDR measurements, continuity checks, and throughput verification.
- Maintain accurate field logs, as‑built drawings, and service tickets within the company’s ticketing system.
- Coordinate with project managers, network engineers, and site supervisors to align work schedules and safety protocols.
- Adhere strictly to occupational safety standards, especially when working on ladders, scaffolding, or elevated platforms.
- Provide on‑site technical support for immediate issue resolution and assist in training junior technicians.
Requirements
- Male candidates, maximum age of 30 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferred majors are Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) or Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik (TJAT).
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with fiber‑optic installation, splicing, and Wi‑Fi AP deployment.
- Demonstrated physical fitness and the ability to work comfortably at heights.
- Active BPJS Kesehatan/KIS membership (mandatory).
- Strong field coordination skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients.
- Analytical mindset for troubleshooting network issues and interpreting test results.
- Willingness to be stationed in any company‑designated area, with initial placement in Ponorogo or Madiun, and to reside in company‑provided mess facilities.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:30 – 18:00.
