Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Staf Dapur – Persiapan & Kebersihan Makanan to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every dish leaving our kitchen meets the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and flavor. The ideal candidate will combine solid culinary knowledge with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients for daily menu items, including washing, cutting, portioning, and marinating according to standardized recipes.
  • Maintain strict cleanliness of all kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas to comply with food safety regulations.
  • Operate and sanitize kitchen tools such as slicers, mixers, ovens, and steamers, ensuring they are in optimal condition.
  • Assist chefs and line cooks during peak service periods, providing timely support for plating and garnishing.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, report shortages, and assist in stock rotation using FIFO (first‑in, first‑out) principles.
  • Conduct daily deep‑cleaning tasks, including floor mopping, waste segregation, and proper disposal of expired products.
  • Document cleaning schedules and temperature logs, and promptly address any deviations.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to implement corrective actions when hygiene standards are not met.
  • Participate in regular training sessions on food safety, allergen handling, and new kitchen technologies.
  • Contribute ideas for improving workflow efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing overall kitchen productivity.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor degree) in Culinary Arts, Food Technology, or related field.
  • Gender: Female (as per company policy for this position).
  • Age: Up to 35 years old.
  • Professional experience: At least 6 years in kitchen preparation and sanitation, with a proven track record of reliability.
  • Technical skills: Proficient in operating standard kitchen equipment and basic maintenance.
  • Core competencies:
    • Positive, can‑do attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
    • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
    • Friendly, approachable demeanor with a customer‑service mindset.
    • Humility and eagerness to learn new techniques.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 kg, and work in a hot, humid environment.
  • Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
