Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Crew Dapur to join our dynamic kitchen team at our Jakarta Timur hub. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work in a fast‑paced food‑and‑beverage environment, supporting daily operations, inventory control, and food preparation for a growing customer base. The successful candidate will be based in the Astro Hub area and will be an essential part of ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth operational flow throughout each shift by coordinating with front‑of‑house staff and supervisors.
- Conduct accurate stock checks and reconcile inventory records to guarantee that product quantities match system data.
- Update stock, inventory, and inbound data in real‑time, supporting the logistics team with timely information.
- Prepare and submit routine operational reports, highlighting key performance metrics such as waste, usage, and preparation times.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure that all kitchen equipment is sanitized according to health‑safety standards.
- Execute cooking processes from raw ingredients to finished, ready‑to‑serve menu items, adhering to recipe specifications and portion control.
- Prep ingredients, sauces, and accompaniments ahead of service, guaranteeing that all necessary items are available when needed.
- Perform pre‑operational preparation tasks, including mise en place, equipment checks, and safety briefings.
- Collaborate with team members in a shift‑based system, adapting quickly to changing demand and menu updates.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 35 years or younger.
- Gender: Open to both male and female candidates (original posting preferred male, but we encourage all qualified applicants).
- At least 1 year of experience in the F&B sector, preferably in a kitchen or as a barista.
- Proven ability to handle food preparation, cooking, and basic pastry techniques.
- Strong inventory‑control skills, including data entry and stock reconciliation.
- Excellent attention to detail, agility, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Self‑motivated, hard‑working, and capable of operating independently while also thriving in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shift schedules and to be assigned across any area within the Astro Hub network.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory software and reporting tools.
