We are seeking a dedicated Guru Pengajar Al‑Qur’an to join our dynamic team at a reputable senior high school in Indonesia. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a deep understanding of the Qur’an among adolescents, integrating modern pedagogical methods with traditional Islamic teachings. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Qur’anic lessons to Grades 10‑12, ensuring coverage of at least one Juz per semester.
- Design and implement lesson plans that blend memorization, tafsir, and practical application of Islamic values.
- Utilize digital tools such as Canva, CapCut, and CorelDRAW to create visual aids, worksheets, and multimedia content that enhance student comprehension.
- Provide individualized tutoring and mentorship for students with special educational needs (ABK), adapting materials to diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, oral recitation, and project‑based evaluations, maintaining accurate records and providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, school administrators, and the library staff to integrate Qur’anic studies into broader curricular activities.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular programs, including Qur’an memorization clubs, inter‑school recitation competitions, and community outreach events.
- Participate in regular professional development sessions, staying current with national curriculum standards and emerging educational technologies.
- Maintain a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting ethical behavior, discipline, and mutual respect among students.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, PGSD, Islamic Studies, Library Science, or a related field.
- Strong memorization of the Qur’an, with at least one Juz memorized and the ability to teach it accurately.
- Preferred certification: UMMI (Ujian Kompetensi Mengajar Islam) or equivalent teaching credential.
- High school diploma (SMA/SMK) is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred for advanced responsibilities.
- Prior experience supporting students with special needs (ABK) is highly valued.
- Proficiency in design and video‑editing software (Canva, CapCut, CorelDRAW, etc.) to create instructional materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire teenage learners.
- Female candidates only, as per school policy, with a professional demeanor and commitment to the institution’s values.
- Ability to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional evening or weekend events.
