Introduction
The Penanggung Jawab Gadai (Pawnshop Manager) position at our Bantul office is a dynamic role that combines inventory control, customer interaction, and sales promotion. As the primary point of contact for both in‑store and online pawn transactions, you will ensure that our inventory of electronic devices, motorcycles, and other high‑value items is accurately recorded, fairly evaluated, and effectively marketed. Responsibilities
- Conduct daily stock opname to verify that all items in the warehouse match the inventory records.
- Perform thorough visual and functional inspections of electronic goods (smartphones, laptops, speakers, drones, etc.) and motorcycles.
- Estimate market‑based resale values for each item, documenting the appraisal in the system.
- Develop and execute promotional campaigns both online (social media, marketplace listings) and offline (flyers, local events).
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers throughout the pawn‑loan process, answering inquiries and explaining terms.
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to ensure smooth transaction flow and timely cash disbursement.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory turnover, sales performance, and profitability for senior management.
- Assist in training new staff on inventory handling, appraisal techniques, and customer service standards.
- Uphold all compliance and security protocols related to high‑value merchandise.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Maximum age: 35 years.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to build trust with diverse customers.
- Basic technical knowledge of consumer electronics and motorcycles; familiarity with product specifications is a plus.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, inventory software) and social media platforms for promotions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high‑volume retail setting.
- Adaptability to flexible work hours; the position operates Monday through Sunday, 08:30 – 16:30.
