Introduction
We are seeking a talented Senior Video Content Editor to join our dynamic Content Team. The ideal candidate will transform raw footage into compelling visual stories that resonate with our audience across multiple digital platforms. This role blends creativity, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of current visual trends to produce high‑impact content that supports our brand’s marketing objectives.
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, broadcast‑ready pieces for promotional campaigns, social media, advertisements, and internal communications.
- Integrate supporting elements such as background music, sound effects, subtitles, on‑screen graphics, and motion‑design assets.
- Maintain consistent visual and audio quality, ensuring colour grading, audio levels, and transitions meet established standards.
- Adapt video formats and specifications for each platform (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) to maximize reach and engagement.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing, creative, and content‑creation teams to align video output with campaign goals and brand voice.
- Stay abreast of emerging editing techniques, software updates, and industry trends to continuously improve content performance.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines and production schedules.
- Provide constructive feedback to junior editors and contribute to the development of best‑practice editing workflows.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma / SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 28 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in video editing or related fields.
- Proficiency with CapCut or comparable video‑editing software; familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro is a plus.
- Strong visual sense and storytelling ability, with an eye for detail and rhythm.
- Creative mindset, ability to work independently, and thrive under deadline pressure.
- Experience in videography, motion graphics, or digital content creation is highly valued.
- Solid understanding of current digital content trends, platform algorithms, and audience behaviour.
- Basic copywriting knowledge to align visuals with written messaging.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
