We are looking for motivated, reliable, and customer‑focused individuals to join our team as Kurir (Courier). As a courier, you will be the face of J&T Express, ensuring that parcels reach customers quickly, safely, and with a smile. Responsibilities
- Pick up packages from the J&T Express hub and deliver them to residential and commercial addresses within the assigned Lamongan area.
- Plan optimal delivery routes using mapping tools and GPS to maximize efficiency and meet daily target volumes.
- Verify the accuracy of shipment details, obtain customer signatures, and record delivery status in the mobile application.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of your personal vehicle, ensuring it complies with safety standards.
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers about any delivery issues, traffic delays, or customer concerns.
- Handle cash‑on‑delivery (COD) transactions securely and reconcile daily cash receipts.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering basic inquiries about delivery times and service policies.
- Adhere to the company’s “Target System,” meeting or exceeding the daily parcel count set by management.
- Report any incidents, damages, or lost items immediately following J&T Express protocols.
- Participate in regular briefings, training sessions, and performance reviews to continuously improve service quality.
Requirements
- Male candidates only (as per current operational policy).
- Maximum age of 40 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM C) with a clean driving record.
- Own a reliable motorcycle or small motorized vehicle suitable for city and suburban routes.
- Own an Android smartphone with at least 3 GB RAM to run the J&T Express delivery app.
- Demonstrated high loyalty, honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining close coordination with the dispatch team.
- Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Strong communication skills and a courteous, customer‑oriented attitude.
- Physical stamina to load and unload parcels, often in varying weather conditions.
