Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Inclusive Elementary Teacher specialized in Special Education Needs (SEN) to join our dynamic team. This full‑time position is based in a supportive school environment that values diversity, creativity, and individualized learning. The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday, from 07:30 to 15:00, collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure every child receives a high‑quality, tailored educational experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address academic, social, and emotional goals for each student.
- Utilize adaptive technology and specialized equipment to facilitate learning for students with physical, cognitive, or sensory impairments.
- Create, modify, and deliver engaging lesson materials and teaching methods that align with curriculum standards while meeting the unique needs of each learner.
- Conduct regular assessments, track progress, and adjust instructional strategies based on data and observation.
- Foster a patient, empathetic, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation, independence, and confidence.
- Collaborate with school counselors, psychologists, and occupational therapists to coordinate multidisciplinary support.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing clear updates on student progress and offering guidance on home‑based reinforcement strategies.
- Participate in professional development workshops, staying current with best practices in special education, inclusive pedagogy, and assistive technology.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports for school administration, and comply with all relevant regulations and accreditation standards.
- Promote peer interaction and social integration through structured group activities and cooperative learning projects.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Special Education, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience working with children who have special educational needs.
- Age between 20 and 39 years old; all genders are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in designing and executing individualized support plans.
- Familiarity with adaptive technologies such as speech‑generating devices, visual aids, and assistive software.
