Introduction
Adira Finance is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Account Officer – Dumai (Riau) to join our growing credit and collections team. The successful candidate will be based at our Dumai office and will play a pivotal role in managing overdue receivables, ensuring timely cash flow, and supporting the company’s multifinance operations. This position is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals who possess strong interpersonal skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and a passion for meeting performance targets.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, manage, and execute the collection of overdue accounts receivable (A/R) in the 61‑120 day range, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal regulations.
- Develop and maintain a systematic follow‑up schedule, utilizing phone calls, emails, and on‑site visits to resolve payment delays.
- Collaborate closely with sales, underwriting, and legal teams to obtain necessary documentation and resolve disputes that may hinder collection.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collection performance, aging analysis, and forecasted cash inflows for senior management review.
- Identify patterns of delinquency and recommend proactive strategies—such as payment plans or restructuring—to mitigate future risk.
- Negotiate settlement agreements with customers while preserving the company’s revenue and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Ensure that all collection activities adhere to the ethical standards and regulatory requirements of the multifinance industry.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with the latest collection tools, credit policies, and market trends.
- Support ad‑hoc projects, such as process improvement initiatives and system enhancements, to increase collection efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate) or S1 (Bachelor) in any field; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Age: 30 years old or younger.
- At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit control, or a related finance function (experience is a strong advantage but not mandatory).
- Solid understanding of multifinance business processes and a results‑driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to negotiate and influence customers.
- High integrity, perseverance, meticulous attention to detail, and honesty in handling financial data.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with collection management software.

- Willingness to work at the Adira Finance office that corresponds to the candidate’s domicile.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00.
