Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team within a leading manufacturing company. Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian GAAP and group policies.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and manage treasury activities to support manufacturing cycles.
- Analyze cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory valuations, and production overhead to provide actionable insights for cost‑control initiatives.
- Coordinate the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns, e‑billing, and e‑filing, ensuring compliance with Direktorat Jenderal Pajak requirements.
- Maintain and improve the accounting software and ERP system, collaborating with IT to streamline data entry and reporting processes.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, partnering with operations, procurement, and sales teams to align financial targets with production plans.
- Perform variance analysis, identify root causes of discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions to senior management.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation, explanations, and reconciliations.
- Train junior accountants and interns on best practices, data integrity, and the use of Microsoft Excel for complex financial modeling.
- Uphold strict confidentiality of all financial data and enforce internal control policies across the finance department.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or tax within a manufacturing or industrial setting; fresh graduates with strong internships are also encouraged.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet analysis, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MYOB) is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of bank reconciliation, sales data processing, and general financial administration.
- Familiarity with e‑billing and e‑filing tax platforms; tax certification (Brevet Pajak, CA, AK) is a plus.
- High level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Integrity, professionalism, and the ability to safeguard confidential company information.
