Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Operations Assistant to join our fast‑growing food‑and‑beverage (F&B) team. This entry‑level but highly visible position supports daily kitchen activities, ensures smooth workflow, and helps maintain the high standards of hygiene, safety, and customer satisfaction that our brand is known for. The role is ideal for a motivated individual who has completed at least a high school education, possesses a year or more of practical F&B experience, and is eager to develop a long‑term career in kitchen management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the head chef and kitchen supervisors with the preparation, cooking, and plating of menu items in accordance with standard recipes.
  • Operate, clean, and perform routine maintenance on kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, condiments, and disposables; report shortages and help with stock replenishment.
  • Ensure that all food handling follows local health regulations and company safety protocols, including proper storage temperatures and cross‑contamination prevention.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized work station, including daily deep‑cleaning of prep tables, cutting boards, and work surfaces.
  • Support the front‑of‑house team by delivering orders promptly, answering basic menu questions, and handling special dietary requests.
  • Record daily production data, waste, and any equipment malfunctions in the kitchen logbook.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to improve culinary techniques, food safety knowledge, and customer service skills.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special events, buffets, or catering orders, ensuring timely setup and breakdown.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by covering shifts during peak periods, weekends, and holidays, while adhering to the scheduled working hours of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Gender: Female (as specified by the hiring policy).
  • Age: 30 years or younger.
  • At least 1 – 3 years of proven experience in a food‑service environment, preferably within a restaurant, hotel, or catering operation.
  • Professional appearance and a pleasant, approachable demeanor.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to interact courteously with colleagues and guests.
  • Demonstrated passion for the culinary industry and a willingness to learn new techniques.
  • High level of discipline, reliability, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in operating basic kitchen equipment and tools.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions, recipes, and safety guidelines.
