Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Promotion Representative (SPG) to join our fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) team in Medan, North Sumatra. This role focuses on promoting, marketing, and selling premium infant formula and dairy products across modern retail channels. Responsibilities
- Execute daily promotional activities and product demonstrations in supermarkets, hypermarkets, and convenience stores to increase brand visibility.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers, retail staff, and key decision‑makers to secure optimal shelf placement and promotional space.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets by implementing effective selling techniques and upselling complementary products.
- Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activities, and provide actionable feedback to the regional sales manager.
- Prepare accurate daily and weekly sales reports, including sales volume, promotional effectiveness, and stock levels.
- Participate in regular training sessions on product knowledge, sales strategies, and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain proper inventory levels in assigned outlets and coordinate with logistics for timely replenishment.
- Adhere to the company’s shift schedule (6 days on, 1 day off) and be flexible to work additional hours during peak promotional periods.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a background in business, marketing, or nutrition is a plus.
- Prior experience in the FMCG sector, preferably with infant formula or dairy products.
- Experience working in modern retail environments is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to convey product benefits clearly and persuasively.
- Demonstrated honesty, friendliness, and a customer‑centric attitude.
- Strong commitment to achieving sales targets and a proven track record of meeting or surpassing goals.
- Target‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for reporting and data analysis.
- Female candidates only; no age limit.
- Willingness to work the designated shift schedule (08:00 – 17:00) and occasional weekend assignments.
- Residency or willingness to relocate to Medan, North Sumatra.
