The successful candidate will operate in a dynamic environment, collaborating with fellow technicians, service advisors, and parts specialists. You will be expected to uphold our reputation for quality workmanship, maintain a clean and organized workshop, and continuously improve your technical skills through on‑the‑job training and industry certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on motorcycles according to established standards and production targets.
- Conduct thorough pre‑delivery inspections, verifying that all mechanical issues have been resolved and that the vehicle meets safety regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of all tools, equipment, and workshop areas.
- Diagnose mechanical faults using both traditional techniques and modern diagnostic tools, documenting findings and recommended actions.
- Provide clear, courteous communication with customers regarding service status, repair options, and preventive maintenance recommendations.
- Collaborate with the parts department to ensure the correct spare parts are ordered, stocked, and installed efficiently.
- Participate in regular team meetings and continuous‑improvement initiatives aimed at reducing turnaround time and enhancing service quality.
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following all regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year proven experience in motorcycle repair and maintenance; experience with light‑weight automotive technology is a plus.
- High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent, preferably with a focus on automotive or mechanical engineering.
- Fundamental knowledge of two‑wheel vehicle systems, including engine tuning, electrical diagnostics, brake systems, and suspension components.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Strong work ethic, honesty, meticulous attention to detail, and a sense of responsibility for the quality of work performed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with customers and maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Physical stamina to handle lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods during repairs.
- Residency in Manado or surrounding areas is preferred to ensure punctuality and local market familiarity.
