Introduction
Lippo Plaza Jember is seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Beauty Advisor to join our thriving beauty and wellness team. Located in the bustling heart of Jember, this role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about cosmetics, skincare, and fitness, and who thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment. As a Beauty Advisor, you will be the face of our brand, delivering personalized consultations, building lasting client relationships, and driving sales of our premium treatment services and product lines. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and will enjoy a supportive atmosphere that values professional development and career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and attract new customers through walk‑ins, referrals, and targeted networking within the local community.
- Conduct in‑depth beauty consultations, assess client needs, recommend appropriate treatments, and provide expert advice on makeup, skincare, and wellness routines.
- Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients, follow up on appointments, and ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, turning challenges into opportunities for loyalty.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets for treatments, product sales, and membership packages.
- Prepare accurate sales reports, track performance metrics, and share insights with management to help refine marketing strategies.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest beauty trends, product launches, and industry best practices through continuous learning and training.
- Collaborate with the store’s visual merchandising team to ensure product displays are attractive, organized, and aligned with brand standards.
- Participate in promotional events, product demonstrations, and brand campaigns to increase foot traffic and brand awareness.
- Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene standards, especially when performing in‑store treatments or product demonstrations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a diploma or associate degree in a related field is a plus.
- At least 4 years of proven experience in the beauty, cosmetics, fitness, or makeup industry.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and meet sales quotas consistently.
- Excellent verbal communication and persuasive selling skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds.
- Organizational aptitude for managing appointments, follow‑ups, and detailed sales reporting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
