Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Professional Assistant Chef to join the dynamic kitchen team of our fast‑growing restaurant chain. Responsibilities
- Assist the chef de partie in preparing ingredients for mise‑en‑place, including washing, chopping, and portioning vegetables, meats, and sauces.
- Support the grill station by preparing patties, toasting buns, and ensuring all grill‑ready items are stocked and organized.
- Participate in the assembly and packaging of ready‑to‑serve meals, maintaining presentation standards and portion accuracy.
- Monitor and replenish kitchen supplies, reporting low inventory levels to the chef and helping with daily stock counts.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment by following HACCP and local health regulations, including proper waste disposal and equipment sanitation.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, checking quality and freshness of ingredients, and storing them correctly.
- Follow recipe specifications and cooking instructions, adjusting seasoning and cooking times as directed by the head chef.
- Support the kitchen team during peak service periods, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of dishes.
- Participate in regular safety briefings, contributing ideas for process improvements and waste reduction.
- Provide courteous and professional assistance to fellow team members, fostering a positive and cooperative work atmosphere.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 25 years old.
- Gender: Male (preferred for this specific kitchen layout).
- No prior professional experience required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Core skills: time management, basic cooking techniques, strict adherence to hygiene standards, flavor control, and quality maintenance.

- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 kg, and work in a hot, fast‑moving environment.
