This full‑time position is based at the bustling Pakuwon Mall location and offers the chance to interact daily with a diverse customer base while supporting the mall’s vibrant shopping environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, scanning items, processing cash, card, and digital payments, and issuing receipts.
- Maintain accurate cash drawers, perform end‑of‑shift reconciliations, and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to every customer, answering product inquiries and guiding them through promotions.
- Monitor inventory levels at the checkout area, alerting supervisors when stock replenishment is needed.
- Ensure the checkout zone is clean, organized, and complies with health and safety standards.
- Assist with returns, exchanges, and refunds while adhering to store policies and documenting each transaction.
- Collaborate with fellow team members and floor staff to maintain smooth store operations during peak hours.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new POS features, product knowledge, and customer‑service best practices.
- Support loss‑prevention initiatives by being vigilant for suspicious activities and reporting them to management.
- Adapt to rotating shift schedules, including weekends and holidays, to meet the mall’s operating hours.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; SMK graduates preferred for technical familiarity.
- Physically and mentally fit; able to stand for extended periods and handle a fast‑paced environment.
- Honest, detail‑oriented, and accountable with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Highly focused and willing to work hard, especially during busy shopping periods.
- Own an Android smartphone for internal communications and schedule updates.
- Not currently enrolled in a college program; full‑time availability is required.
- Possess a personal vehicle for reliable commuting to and from the mall.
- Available for shift work (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) with occasional overtime.
- Must not be seeking part‑time employment; this role is strictly full‑time.
- Basic proficiency with cash register systems and a willingness to learn advanced POS software.
