Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Kasir Penjualan to join our thriving retail team at the Tarakan branch. This full‑time position plays a critical role in delivering smooth and friendly checkout experiences for our customers while maintaining accurate cash handling and daily financial records. As the frontline ambassador of our brand, you will help uphold our reputation for exceptional service, efficiency, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Process all types of sales transactions—including cash, debit, credit, installment plans, and e‑wallet payments—using our modern POS system.
- Generate and hand out accurate sales receipts or invoices for every transaction, ensuring compliance with company and fiscal regulations.
- Maintain daily cash registers, reconcile cash drawers at the start and end of each shift, and prepare regular cash‑in‑hand reports.
- Record all sales data promptly in the electronic system, facilitating real‑time inventory updates and financial reporting.
- Prepare and submit daily cash deposit slips to the finance department, safeguarding company assets.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, price checks, and promotional offers, delivering courteous and knowledgeable service.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or transaction errors, escalating issues to the store manager when necessary.
- Support inventory audits by verifying stock levels during periodic counts and reporting any variances.
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area, ensuring that promotional materials and signage are up‑to‑date.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with new POS features, payment technologies, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Female candidates, maximum age of 30 years, and preferably single (as per company policy).
- Minimum education: D3/D4 or S1 in Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a retail cashier; experience with POS systems is highly desirable.
- Proficient in operating cash registers, digital transaction platforms, and e‑wallet applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Strong numerical aptitude, high attention to detail, honesty, and a sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime during peak periods.
- Well‑groomed appearance that reflects the company’s brand standards.
