Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, adhering strictly to standardized recipes, quality guidelines, and presentation standards.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other specialized equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring consistent extraction and flavor profiles.
- Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on all bar equipment, including descaling, filter replacement, and daily sanitation procedures.
- Maintain a spotless work environment by regularly wiping down countertops, cleaning seating areas, and organizing service stations.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milks, syrups, cups, lids, and ancillary supplies; restock shelves and notify management of low stock or potential shortages.
- Engage with customers, take orders accurately, answer product‑related questions, and suggest menu items based on individual preferences.
- Handle cash transactions and operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems with attention to detail and accountability.
- Collaborate with teammates and kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours, from opening to closing.
- Uphold health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, allergen awareness, and emergency procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 27 years old.
- Gender: Male (as specified by local labor regulations).
- At least 1 year of experience working in a coffee shop, café, or similar hospitality setting.
- Proven barista skills, including espresso extraction, milk frothing, and flavor balancing.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot coffee‑making machinery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; friendly, patient, and attentive to customer needs.
- Excellent time‑management and multitasking abilities, especially during high‑traffic periods.
- Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and adherence to hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays, from 08:00 – 22:00.
