This role is pivotal in expanding our outreach, identifying new borrowers, and delivering hands‑on economic support to households that benefit from Amartha’s loan programs. Candidates will work directly in the community, building trust, conducting assessments, and ensuring timely repayment while representing Amartha’s core values of integrity, transparency, and social impact.
Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential new borrowers in the Cirebon Raya area, presenting Amartha’s financing solutions and encouraging enrollment in loan programs.
- Provide continuous economic counseling and mentorship to existing members, helping them manage household finances, improve cash flow, and grow their businesses.
- Conduct on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, rigorously applying Amartha’s underwriting criteria, policies, and documentation standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on borrower eligibility, credit risk, and repayment capacity for review by the underwriting team.
- Execute the collection process by contacting borrowers, negotiating repayment schedules, and ensuring compliance with agreed terms.
- Maintain accurate field records, update the CRM system in real‑time, and communicate any emerging risks or opportunities to the regional manager.
- Collaborate with local partners, community leaders, and government agencies to foster a supportive ecosystem for micro‑entrepreneurs.
- Participate in regular training sessions, share best practices with peers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age range: 18–30 years (maximum 33 years for senior candidates).
- Open to all genders; female candidates are highly encouraged.
- Possession of a personal motorbike or car for daily field travel.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Resilience and discipline to work independently in diverse field conditions.
- Ability to work on‑site every day, often in remote or underserved neighborhoods.
- No prior experience required; however, prior exposure to sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance will be considered an advantage.
- Basic digital literacy for using mobile data collection tools and Amartha’s internal platforms.
