Introduction

We are a fast‑growing telecommunications provider dedicated to delivering reliable FTTH (Fiber to the Home) services across Indonesia. To support our expansion, we are seeking enthusiastic and technically‑savvy individuals to join our field team as Teknisi Penjualan Produk Elektronik. This hybrid role combines hands‑on installation work with customer‑focused sales activities, ensuring that new subscribers enjoy a seamless internet experience from the first point of contact to full activation.

Responsibilities

The position blends three core functions: technical installation, customer service, and sales outreach. Candidates will be expected to perform the following duties:

  • Main Installation Tasks
    • Install internet services at residential premises by pulling drop‑core fiber from the nearest ODP or pole to the customer’s home.
    • Mount, configure, and test ONT/Modem units, verifying that the connection is live and stable.
    • Customize Wi‑Fi settings (SSID, password, router placement) according to customer preferences.
    • Troubleshoot common issues such as loss of signal (LOS), cable breaks, or weak signal strength.
    • Repair and splice fiber lines, replace drop‑core cables and SC connectors when needed.
    • Document each job with photographs and update the technician app with completion notes.
  • Technical Field Work
    • Work safely at height, including climbing poles or ladders.
    • Run aerial or indoor fiber cabling, adhering to local safety standards.
    • Perform fiber splicing (fusion or mechanical) and conduct connection tests using OTDR or power meters.
  • Customer Interaction & Administration
    • Educate customers on basic Wi‑Fi and modem usage.
    • Maintain up‑to‑date job status in the company’s CRM system.
    • Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and clear communication at all times.
  • Sales & Lead Generation (IKR)
    • Conduct door‑to‑door canvassing, booth promotion, and other outreach activities to generate new internet leads.
    • Explain service packages, pricing, and promotional offers clearly.
    • Collect required customer documentation (KTP, address, contact number) and enter orders into the system.
    • Coordinate installation schedules with the technical team and follow up until the service is fully activated.
    • Build and nurture long‑term relationships with customers to encourage retention and referrals.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; technical backgrounds such as TKJ, Electrical, or Telecommunications are preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in network installation, telecommunications, or related field.
  • Physical fitness and comfort working at heights; ability to lift equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – polite, patient, and able to explain technical concepts in simple language.
  • Basic understanding of fiber‑optic networks (FTTH) – training will be provided for detailed splicing and testing procedures.
  • Proficiency with tools such as ladders, climbing sets, fiber splicers, power meters, and OTDR (considered a plus).
  • Self‑motivated with a daily target‑driven mindset; able to manage time efficiently across installation and sales activities.
