Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Cashier – Customer Service to join our fast‑growing retail team. This role serves as the front‑line face of the company, handling monetary transactions, assisting shoppers, and ensuring a seamless checkout experience. The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of hands‑on cashier experience, a high school or vocational education, and a friendly attitude that reflects our commitment to exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, scanning items, processing cash, credit, and digital payments.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawers, reconcile end‑of‑day balances, and report any discrepancies to management promptly.
  • Provide courteous and knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering product inquiries, handling returns, and resolving minor complaints.
  • Promote store promotions, loyalty programs, and upsell complementary items while adhering to company policies.
  • Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies such as receipt paper, bags, and promotional flyers.
  • Collaborate with floor staff to manage inventory flow, restock high‑turnover items, and support loss‑prevention initiatives.
  • Follow health, safety, and security protocols, including proper handling of cash and adherence to data‑privacy regulations.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new products, POS upgrades, and customer‑service best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in a cashier or customer‑service role.
  • Age not exceeding 35 years.
  • Open to all genders; we value diversity and inclusion.
  • Proficiency with standard cashier systems and basic computer skills.
  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail when handling cash.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work a full schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
  • Team‑player mindset with a positive attitude toward problem‑solving.
