Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented Manajer Cost Control Operasional to join our hospitality team in Bali. This pivotal role focuses on safeguarding the financial health of our resort operations while ensuring that service excellence remains uncompromised. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of hands‑on experience in cost control or a similar function within the hospitality sector, possess a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, and be ready to contribute immediately to a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve cost‑control policies and procedures aligned with the resort’s strategic goals.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly operational expenses, comparing actual spend against approved budgets.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify cost overruns, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with department heads (housekeeping, food & beverage, front office, maintenance) to forecast expenses and set realistic budget targets.
- Oversee procurement processes, ensuring that purchases are made at optimal prices while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for supplies, linens, and other consumables, and perform regular physical counts.
- Prepare detailed cost‑control reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators such as cost per occupied room, labor efficiency, and food cost percentages.
- Train and mentor junior staff on cost‑awareness, encouraging a culture of fiscal responsibility across all teams.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, internal audit requirements, and corporate financial policies.
- Participate in periodic internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (GSA – Guest Service Agent) as per company policy.
- Age: Open, but candidates should be able to meet the physical demands of the role.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in cost control, budgeting, or a related finance role within the hospitality industry.
- Current domicile in Bali or willingness to relocate immediately.
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with international guests and corporate stakeholders.
- Demonstrated positive attitude, high level of integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Proficiency in basic accounting concepts, spreadsheet software (Excel), and familiarity with hotel management systems (e.g., OPERA, SAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
