Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Barista Profesional to join the vibrant team at a café operated by PT. Casa Boga Indonesia. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about specialty coffee, enjoy a fast‑paced environment, and are eager to contribute to a welcoming hospitality experience for guests in Cihanjung.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages according to company standards.
- Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene in the preparation area, including regular equipment cleaning, countertop sanitizing, and waste management.
- Engage with customers courteously, take orders accurately, and provide product recommendations based on individual taste preferences.
- Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems efficiently, handle cash transactions, and ensure accurate daily cash reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other consumables, and communicate restocking needs to the manager.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours, supporting team members when necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and personal protective equipment usage.
- Continuously improve coffee‑making skills through training sessions, tasting workshops, and staying updated on industry trends.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, such as setting up equipment, preparing the service station, and securing the premises.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old (maximum 0 years is a placeholder; candidates should be within a typical working age range).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a barista; 1‑5 years of experience is considered a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work quickly while maintaining precision.
- Strong sense of discipline, reliability, and responsibility.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to be stationed at the café location in Cihanjung under the PT. Casa Boga Indonesia umbrella.
- Core skill set: Proficient in espresso machine operation, milk frothing, latte art, and basic coffee bean knowledge.
