Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Collector Lapangan for our operations in Kutai Timur. This field collection position plays a pivotal role in maintaining healthy cash flow by engaging directly with customers, securing payments, and ensuring that all financial obligations are met in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and negotiation abilities, a solid understanding of the local area, and the independence required to manage a daily route on a two‑wheel vehicle.
The role offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, providing a balanced environment for personal development and career growth within the finance and collections industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site debt collection activities, visiting customers within the assigned territory to discuss outstanding balances.
- Collect payments directly from clients, handling cash, bank transfers, or digital payment methods according to company policy.
- Prepare and submit detailed visit reports, including payment status, client feedback, and any escalation requirements.
- Achieve or exceed monthly collection targets set by the supervisory team.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the company’s CRM system, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
- Identify and report trends or recurring issues in the collection process that could impact overall performance.
- Collaborate with the credit and legal departments when cases require additional follow‑up or legal action.
- Provide exceptional customer service, preserving the company’s reputation while firmly pursuing repayment.
Requirements
- Age between 18 and 40 years.
- Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
- At least 1 year of experience in collections; preferably 2 years of proven field collection success.
- Male candidates only, as specified by the client’s operational guidelines.
- Valid motorcycle (two‑wheel) and a current SIM C driving license.
- Thorough knowledge of the Kutai Timur area, including major streets, neighborhoods, and commercial zones.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations diplomatically.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Basic computer literacy for report entry and use of mobile mapping applications.
