Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Collector – Penagihan to join our dynamic team in Tomohon. This role is a core component of our Accounts Receivable (A/R) function, responsible for ensuring overdue payments are recovered promptly and professionally. The successful candidate will work closely with branch offices, customers, and internal stakeholders to meet collection targets while upholding the highest standards of integrity and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the full cycle of A/R overdue collection activities, ensuring that all payments are pursued and secured within established timelines.
  • Conduct field visits to customers in the Tomohon area for in‑person debt recovery, payment negotiations, and relationship building.
  • Collaborate with branch managers and credit officers to identify high‑risk accounts and develop tailored remediation plans.
  • Assist the branch in handling problematic partners, including developing escalation strategies and coordinating with legal counsel when necessary.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly collection targets set by senior management, reporting progress and obstacles on a regular basis.
  • Maintain accurate records of collection activities, payment agreements, and customer communications in the company’s CRM system.
  • Provide feedback to the credit underwriting team on emerging risk trends and borrower behavior patterns.
  • Participate in regular training sessions on credit processes, negotiation techniques, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor’s degree) in any discipline; fresh graduates are welcome.
  • At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit monitoring, or a related financial services role.
  • Maximum age of 29 years, though the emphasis is on capability and attitude.
  • Strong understanding of multifinance business processes and a results‑oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation ability.
  • High degree of integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with branch teams.
  • Male candidates only, as per the current hiring policy.
  • Willingness to be placed in the candidate’s domicile area; travel within the Tomohon region is required.
  • Proficient in credit monitoring, debt collection procedures, and interpersonal communication.
