We are seeking a highly qualified Dosen Pendidikan Profesi Bidan to join our academic team in Palembang, South Sumatra. Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and assess undergraduate and postgraduate courses in midwifery, ensuring alignment with national standards and the university’s curriculum framework.
- Guide student clinical rotations, supervise practical skills labs, and evaluate competency in obstetric and neonatal care.
- Develop and publish scholarly research articles, conference papers, and case studies that advance the science and practice of midwifery.
- Participate in the university’s Tri‑Dharma activities: teaching, research, and community service, including outreach programs for maternal health in surrounding communities.
- Mentor junior faculty and assist in curriculum development, accreditation processes, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with hospital partners, governmental health agencies, and professional associations to foster experiential learning opportunities.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of evolving regulations, best practices, and emerging technologies in maternal and child health.
- Engage in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and university events, contributing to a collegial and innovative academic environment.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (Magister) in Midwifery from a BAN‑PT accredited university.
- Academic background in D3/D4/S1 Kebidanan (midwifery) with a minimum GPA of 3.0 for S1 and 3.5 for S2.
- No age limitation; preference for candidates willing to commit long‑term to the institution.
- Willingness to relocate and permanently reside in Palembang, South Sumatra.
- Not currently employed as a civil servant or permanent staff in another institution.
- Strong understanding of the Tri‑Dharma of higher education (teaching, research, community service).
- Clean legal and professional record – no past criminal issues, employment disputes, or unresolved financial obligations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Proficiency in developing curriculum, using e‑learning platforms, and applying modern pedagogical methods.
