Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and professional driver to join our logistics operations team. This role is essential for ensuring timely delivery of goods across the region and maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in vehicle operation, a good knowledge of navigation tools such as Google Maps, and a willingness to travel beyond the city limits.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, including checks of brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels to guarantee roadworthiness.
- Load, secure, and unload cargo while following company safety protocols and weight limits.
- Plan and follow optimal routes using Google Maps, GPS devices, and traffic updates to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, fuel receipts, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding any delays or issues.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and industry regulations, including the proper use of a Class A (SIM A) driving license.
- Provide excellent customer service by handling goods with care and representing the company positively during each interaction.
- Assist with occasional off‑site assignments, such as supporting special events or emergency deliveries outside the primary service area.
- Participate in regular safety training sessions and contribute suggestions for process improvements.
Requirements
- Maximum age: 35 years.
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA) or equivalent (SMK/sertifikasi).
- Valid Indonesian Class A driving license (SIM A).
- At least 1 year of professional driving experience, preferably in logistics or freight transport.
- Proficient in reading and navigating with Google Maps or similar navigation apps.
- Willingness to be assigned to routes outside the city, including occasional overnight trips.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact courteously with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading tasks and to sit for extended periods while driving.
