Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guru Calistung, Bahasa Inggris, dan Mengaji to join our vibrant learning community in Purwakarta. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans for calistung (reading, writing, and arithmetic), English language, and Qur’anic recitation (mengaji) that align with the national curriculum and the institution’s educational philosophy.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, oral examinations, and performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
- Prepare supplementary teaching materials, including visual aids, worksheets, and digital resources, to enhance classroom interaction and accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Facilitate interactive activities such as group discussions, language games, and memorization drills that encourage active participation and confidence building.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, grade books, and student portfolios, ensuring compliance with school reporting standards.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student achievements, areas for development, and recommended support strategies.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrative staff to organize school events, extracurricular programs, and community outreach initiatives.
- Uphold a safe, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that reflects the school’s commitment to moral and academic excellence.
- Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops, seminars, and training sessions related to pedagogy, language instruction, and religious education.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, English, Islamic Studies, or a related field.
- Age range: 18 – 50 years.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Current university student status or recent graduate is acceptable; candidates must be at least a high school or pesantren graduate with prior teaching experience.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching literacy, English, or Qur’anic studies is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
- Exemplary character traits: honesty, reliability, adherence to school policies, and a genuine commitment to student welfare.
- Proficiency in using basic educational technology tools (e.g., MS Office, learning management systems).
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
