Introduction

We are a fast‑growing catering service that specializes in delivering high‑quality meals for corporate events, weddings, and private functions throughout the Ngantjuk region. To support our expanding kitchen operations, we are looking for a motivated Helper Dapur – Operational Support to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to develop their culinary skills, work in a dynamic environment, and contribute to the seamless execution of our food‑service commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs and senior kitchen staff in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning vegetables, meats, and other items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring that all surfaces, utensils, and equipment are sanitized according to food‑safety standards.
  • Operate basic kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, and fryers under supervision, while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Support the plating and garnishing of dishes during service periods, ensuring presentation meets the company’s quality standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels of pantry staples, report shortages, and assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Participate in daily kitchen briefings, providing feedback on workflow improvements and any observed issues.
  • Help with waste management by sorting recyclables, compostable materials, and disposing of refuse responsibly.
  • Collaborate closely with the service team to ensure timely delivery of meals during on‑site catering events.
  • Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor, representing the brand positively to clients and guests.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: 18 – 30 years.
  • All genders are welcome to apply.
  • Residency in Ngantjuk or surrounding areas.
  • At least basic experience in a kitchen environment or a strong willingness to learn on the job.
  • Ability to operate common kitchen equipment safely.
  • Strong teamwork orientation, honesty, and a high sense of responsibility.
  • Professional and presentable appearance.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English is a plus.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 15 kg when necessary.
