Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Field Expedition Coordinator for the Sumedang region to join our growing logistics team. This role is pivotal in expanding our courier network, ensuring high‑quality recruitment, and safeguarding operational integrity across the area. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between our headquarters’ human‑resources strategy and the on‑ground execution of courier services, playing a key part in our mission to deliver fast, reliable, and trustworthy shipments to customers throughout West Java.
Responsibilities
- Identify and attract potential courier candidates using a variety of sourcing channels such as flyering, social media campaigns, local community referrals, and partnerships with driving schools.
- Conduct thorough eligibility checks, confirming that each applicant holds a valid driver’s license (SIM) and possesses an appropriate vehicle that meets company standards.
- Lead structured interview sessions, assess soft skills such as communication, reliability, and problem‑solving, and verify the completeness of all required documentation.
- Provide comprehensive onboarding, including detailed instruction on daily task expectations, standard operating procedures (SOP), safety guidelines, and the use of our proprietary mobile application for order management and tracking.
- Monitor recruitment metrics, track the effectiveness of various sourcing methods, and analyze retention rates to continuously improve the hiring funnel.
- Prepare and submit regular recruitment reports to the HR team and senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, challenges, and recommendations.
- Develop a keen understanding of fraud detection and resolution techniques, training couriers on best practices to prevent and address fraudulent activities in the field.
- Coordinate closely with the operations and finance departments to ensure seamless integration of new couriers into the billing and payment cycles.
- Maintain strong relationships with local authorities and community leaders to foster a positive brand image and facilitate smooth logistical operations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Male (as per current operational policy).
- At least 1 year of proven experience in recruitment, logistics coordination, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct candidate screening, interview processes, and document verification.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic regulations, vehicle maintenance basics, and driver safety standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a diverse group of couriers.
- Proficiency in using digital recruitment tools, spreadsheets, and mobile applications for tracking performance.
- Analytical mindset for monitoring recruitment KPIs and identifying areas for improvement.
- Understanding of debt collection processes and experience handling fraud prevention in a field environment are highly desirable.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional field visits outside standard hours when needed.
