Introduction
SPX Express is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Hub Lead to oversee operations in the Kab. Barito Selatan and Kab. Barito Timur regions of Central Kalimantan. This pivotal role ensures that every parcel moves smoothly from the moment it is picked up until it reaches the customer’s doorstep. The successful candidate will act as the central point of contact between the warehouse team, line‑haul partners, and third‑party logistics (3PL) providers, fostering a culture of reliability, safety, and continuous improvement. The position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, from 09:30 to 18:30, and requires on‑site residence within the designated districts.
Responsibilities
- Monitor end‑to‑end delivery cycles, guaranteeing that pickups, transit, and final deliveries meet promised service windows.
- Coordinate daily with Warehouse, Line Haul, and 3PL teams to resolve bottlenecks, adjust routing, and allocate resources efficiently.
- Implement risk‑mitigation strategies to reduce loss, damage, and mis‑delivery rates, including spot checks and incident reporting.
- Oversee all hub transactions, maintaining accurate logs of inbound and outbound movements and ensuring data integrity in the transport management system.
- Supervise inbound and outbound activities, directing staff on loading, unloading, sorting, and staging procedures.
- Coach, mentor, and evaluate hub staff, creating individualized development plans and conducting regular performance reviews.
- Analyze daily performance metrics (e.g., on‑time delivery, capacity utilization) and present actionable insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company SOPs, and local transportation laws.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean process redesigns and technology adoption (e.g., barcode scanning, route optimization tools).
- Maintain clear communication channels with customers for escalations, providing timely updates on any service disruptions.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; diploma or bachelor’s degree in any field is preferred.
- Experience: At least 3 years of supervisory or coordination experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related sector, with a proven track record in last‑mile or first‑mile operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, familiar with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transport management systems (TMS).
- Analytical Ability: Strong logistics analysis skills to interpret data, forecast demand, and optimize routing.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams, manage conflict, and inspire high performance.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication in Bahasa Indonesia; English is a plus.
- Location: Must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, Kab. Barito Selatan or Kab. Barito Timur, Central Kalimantan.
