Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Kasir Penjualan dan Pelayanan Pelanggan to join the dynamic team at Pempek Beringin. This frontline position plays a crucial role in delivering seamless sales transactions, promoting our signature products, and ensuring an inviting atmosphere for every guest. The ideal candidate will combine strong numeracy skills with a friendly, service‑oriented demeanor, contributing to both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction across our multiple outlets.
Responsibilities
- Process all sales and payment transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system and EDC (Electronic Data Capture) machines.
- Record each transaction in the cash register application, ensuring data integrity and timely reconciliation at the end of each shift.
- Actively communicate product information, current promotions, and special offers to customers, encouraging upselling and repeat business.
- Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall presentation of the restaurant, including tables, counters, and floor areas.
- Perform routine checks on cash register equipment, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and coordinate with management for any necessary repairs.
- Deliver courteous and professional service, handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with empathy and efficiency.
- Support inventory control by reporting low stock levels of consumables and assisting with daily restocking activities.
- Collaborate with teammates during shift changes to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities and cash balances.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and cash handling policies as mandated by company standards and local regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age not exceeding 30 years.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a cashier in a fast‑paced retail or restaurant environment.
- Proficient in using POS software and EDC payment terminals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage customers with a warm and approachable attitude.
- Highly detail‑oriented, disciplined, and honest with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends, to meet the operational needs of multiple Pempek Beringin outlets.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle occasional lifting of supplies.
- Professional appearance and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service.
