We partner with local women—referred to as ibu mitra—to provide them with affordable credit, financial education, and a supportive community. To expand our impact, we are seeking dynamic Business Partners (Regional Dairi) who will serve as the bridge between Amartha’s product portfolio and the women we aim to uplift.

This full‑time, field‑based role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in community‑oriented environments, possess a strong sense of responsibility, and are eager to contribute to sustainable development while advancing their own career.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new ibu mitra partners across the Dairi region, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified borrowers.
  • Conduct on‑site product demonstrations and educational sessions to explain Amartha’s loan offerings, repayment terms, and financial benefits.
  • Perform feasibility and credit‑worthiness surveys, gathering necessary documentation and assessing eligibility according to Amartha’s risk criteria.
  • Facilitate the loan disbursement process, coordinating with the operations team to ensure timely fund release to approved partners.
  • Monitor repayment schedules, provide reminders, and assist partners in overcoming payment challenges to maintain high collection rates.
  • Collect feedback from the field, report market insights, and propose improvements to product design and outreach strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions, using Amartha’s CRM tools to track recruitment, training, and repayment metrics.
  • Collaborate with local community leaders, NGOs, and government agencies to build trust and expand Amartha’s presence.
  • Travel extensively within the assigned territory, often on a motorbike, to reach remote villages and ensure coverage of underserved areas.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; candidates with up to a Bachelor’s degree (S1) are preferred.
  • Age: Up to 30 years old, with no strict upper limit as long as the candidate demonstrates the required stamina and commitment.
  • Possession of a personal motorbike and a valid driver’s license for field travel.
  • Willingness to work on the ground and relocate across any area within the Dairi region as needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse cultural contexts.
  • Demonstrated ethical conduct, reliability, and a customer‑focused mindset.
  • Basic analytical abilities to assess partner suitability and track performance metrics.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.

Benefits

  • Competitive monthly base salary with performance‑based incentives.
  • Monthly motorbike service allowance to support field mobility.
  • Annual bonus tied to achievement of recruitment and repayment targets.
  • Holiday allowance for major religious celebrations (Hari Raya).
  • Clear career progression path with opportunities for promotion to regional supervisory roles.
  • Work‑life balance: Saturdays and Sundays off; standard work hours are Monday‑Friday, 07:30‑18:00.
  • Professional development programs, including training on financial inclusion, sales techniques, and community engagement.
