Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, processing cash, credit, and digital payments with zero errors.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product inquiries, and provide recommendations that encourage additional purchases.
- Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area, ensuring all promotional materials and price tags are up‑to‑date.
- Perform daily cash drawer reconciliations, prepare end‑of‑day reports, and hand over receipts to the store manager.
- Assist with inventory checks by scanning items, updating stock levels, and reporting discrepancies to the inventory supervisor.
- Handle customer returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with store policies while preserving customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with sales associates and floor staff to ensure smooth flow of customers during peak hours.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new POS features, product knowledge, and loss‑prevention techniques.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere strictly to company security protocols.
- Prepare and file required documentation, including application letter, CV, photocopies of academic certificates, identity documents, family card, and a recent passport‑style photograph.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (as per the specific staffing need).
- Age: Candidates should be within the typical working age range for entry‑level retail positions.
- Basic proficiency in operating a cash register or POS system.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to remain courteous under pressure.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Ability to read and write Bahasa Indonesia fluently.
