Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer (Daily Worker) to join our professional team. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a minimum of a D3/D4 education, have at least one year of relevant experience, and are eager to apply strong communication and interpersonal skills in a fast‑paced environment. The successful applicant will work six days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ facilities and assets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises, both on foot and by vehicle, to deter and detect unauthorized activities.
- Monitor CCTV systems, alarm panels, and access‑control devices, promptly responding to any alerts or breaches.
- Perform thorough security checks at entry points, verifying identification and ensuring compliance with visitor policies.
- Maintain accurate incident logs, daily reports, and handover notes for shift continuity.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when incidents require external intervention.
- Provide clear, courteous communication to employees, visitors, and contractors regarding security procedures.
- Identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions to management.
- Participate in regular safety drills, fire evacuations, and emergency response training.
- Uphold company standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality at all times.
- Assist in the training of new security personnel, sharing best practices and operational guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor degree) in any discipline.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a security officer role or a closely related position.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work independently as well as part of a coordinated team.
- Fast learner, adaptable, and capable of handling high‑pressure situations with composure.
- Physical fitness to conduct patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly to incidents.
- Basic knowledge of security technologies such as CCTV, alarm systems, and access control.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred) and clean background check.
- Availability to work the scheduled shift of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
