Introduction

We are seeking a diligent and customer‑focused Kasir Toko Serba Ada to join our dynamic retail team. This full‑time position is based at our flagship outlet, operating Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00. The ideal candidate will provide seamless checkout experiences, uphold our brand’s reputation for courteous service, and support daily store operations with accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, scanning items, processing cash, card, and digital payments.
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer, perform end‑of‑day reconciliation, and report any discrepancies promptly.
  • Provide accurate price checks, apply promotions, and handle returns or exchanges in accordance with store policy.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries, recommend complementary items, and ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
  • Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies such as receipt paper and bags.
  • Collaborate with sales floor staff to manage inventory flow, restock shelves, and execute visual merchandising standards.
  • Monitor and respond to customer feedback, escalating issues to management when needed.
  • Work under high‑traffic conditions while maintaining composure, accuracy, and adherence to sales targets.
  • Participate in periodic training sessions to stay updated on new products, POS upgrades, and company policies.
  • Contribute to team meetings, sharing ideas for improving checkout speed and overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a cashier is preferred, though motivated newcomers are welcomed.
  • Strong numerical ability and meticulous attention to detail when handling cash and transactions.
  • Proficiency with computers and POS software; ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Professional appearance and polite demeanor that reflects the store’s brand image.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a clear customer‑service orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Resilience under pressure, capable of meeting sales targets and handling peak‑hour rushes.
