Introduction
We are seeking a skilled Teknisi Mesin Industri – Perawatan & Perbaikan to join our dynamic maintenance team in Jombang. This role is essential for ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our production lines and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. The successful candidate will bring a solid technical background, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑mobility environment.
The position offers a full‑time schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional overtime as required to meet production deadlines. Candidates with a minimum of one year of hands‑on experience in industrial machine maintenance and a technical diploma (D3/D4) are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of industrial machinery, including CNC machines, hydraulic presses, and conveyor systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults using troubleshooting charts, multimeters, and diagnostic software.
- Execute welding tasks using electric arc and Argon (TIG) techniques to repair structural components and fabricate custom parts.
- Document all maintenance activities, parts replaced, and downtime in the company’s CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Collaborate closely with production supervisors to schedule maintenance windows that minimize impact on output.
- Conduct regular inspections and calibrations to ensure compliance with safety standards and ISO‑9001 quality requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operators on proper machine handling and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain an organized tool inventory and ensure that all safety equipment is readily available and in good condition.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects, suggesting upgrades or redesigns that enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field (SMK Teknik Mesin highly preferred).
- At least 1 year of proven experience in industrial machine maintenance and repair.
- Proficiency with electric welding (Listrik) and Argon (TIG) welding techniques.
- Strong understanding of machine maintenance principles, including lubrication, alignment, and component replacement.
- Excellent attention to detail, discipline, honesty, and a proactive mindset when working within a team.
- Willingness to work with high mobility, including traveling between multiple workshop locations and performing overtime when needed.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and the ability to convey technical information clearly to non‑technical staff.
- Physical stamina to handle manual lifting, climbing, and prolonged periods of standing.
