Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in the vibrant city of Magelang. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and orderly environment for employees, visitors, and assets at our assigned location. The successful candidate will be part of a professional security service provider that values integrity, vigilance, and proactive risk management.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular patrols of the premises, both on foot and by vehicle, to deter and detect any unauthorized activities.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, alarm systems, and access control points to ensure continuous protection of the site.
- Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies, providing clear communication and appropriate escalation to law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and handover documents to ensure accurate record‑keeping and continuity between shifts.
- Conduct visitor screening, verify identification, and manage entry/exit logs to control access to restricted areas.
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and local regulations, addressing any violations with professionalism.
- Collaborate with other security personnel and management to develop and improve security protocols and emergency response plans.
- Provide assistance during special events, crowd control, and any situation requiring heightened security presence.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Male (as per client specifications).
- Physical: Height of at least 165 cm and a good level of physical fitness to handle shift work and occasional overtime.
- Certification: Possession of a valid GP (Guard Police) security certificate.
- Experience: No prior experience required; however, any background in security, military, or related fields is advantageous.
- Skills: Strong observational abilities, basic security analysis, effective communication, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Work Schedule: Willingness to work a rotating shift system, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
