Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Front Desk Agent to become the welcoming face of our 3‑ to 4‑star hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing guest interactions, handling reservations, and ensuring that every visitor experiences a smooth and memorable stay. This role requires a blend of professional hospitality knowledge, strong communication abilities, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, perform check‑in and check‑out procedures, and issue room keys efficiently.
- Manage reservations through our property management system, confirming bookings, handling modifications, and resolving any discrepancies.
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, transportation options, and dining venues to enhance the guest experience.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in‑person, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill special requests such as extra linens, room upgrades, or maintenance issues.
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with hotel policies.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked front desk area, including promotional materials and informational brochures.
- Track and report daily occupancy, revenue, and occupancy trends to the Front Office Manager.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on hospitality best practices, safety protocols, and emerging technology tools.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 2–4 years of proven experience in a front desk or guest services role within a 3‑ or 4‑star hotel environment.
- Age limit: maximum 35 years.
- Open to all genders.
- Strong verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic proficiency in English.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities, with a friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic personality.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and standard office applications.
- Highly reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining confidentiality of guest information.
