As a Kurir Motor Ekspedisi, you will play a critical role in ensuring that parcels, documents, and time‑sensitive shipments reach customers quickly and in perfect condition. Responsibilities
- Pick up packages from the SPX warehouse or partner facilities and deliver them to the designated addresses within the agreed time windows.
- Inspect each shipment before departure to confirm that the contents match the order, are properly packaged, and are free from damage.
- Plan and optimize daily routes using GPS, maps, or the company’s routing software to minimize travel time and fuel consumption while respecting traffic patterns and local road conditions.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch supervisors, providing real‑time updates through the mobile application or via phone calls regarding delivery status, delays, or exceptions.
- Report any incidents, customer complaints, or vehicle issues promptly and document them in the system for follow‑up.
- Perform routine checks on the motorbike—fuel level, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and overall mechanical health—to ensure the vehicle remains road‑worthy and compliant with safety regulations.
- Securely store parcels during transit, using proper loading techniques to prevent shifting or damage, especially for fragile or high‑value items.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements while on the road.
- Assist with occasional special projects such as bulk deliveries, event logistics, or promotional campaigns as directed by management.
- Coordinate with other couriers and the central office to balance workloads and cover peak periods, including holidays and weekend spikes.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑50 years (maximum 50 years at the time of application).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Driving experience: Valid motorbike license (SIM C) with a clean driving record; no prior professional experience required, though prior courier or delivery work is a plus.
- Key skills:
- Strong B2C sales awareness to understand customer expectations.
- Basic fleet and logistics management knowledge.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic administrative competence for logging deliveries and handling paperwork.
- Analytical mindset to evaluate route efficiency and delivery performance.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
- Physical ability to lift packages up to 20 kg and handle the motorbike for extended periods.
- Willingness to work the standard schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
- Residency: Placement will be assigned based on the applicant’s domicile within the Indramayu region.
