We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Area Sales Manager – Balikpapan to lead our sales operations in the vibrant East Kalimantan market. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine daily and monthly sales plans that align with regional revenue targets and corporate objectives.
- Conduct regular field visits, canvassing activities, and follow‑up on leads to acquire new B2B customers across key industry sectors such as mining, logistics, and manufacturing.
- Perform market segmentation analysis, identify high‑potential accounts, and monitor competitor activities to adapt tactics and protect market share.
- Build and nurture long‑term relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, repeat business, and brand loyalty.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and negotiate contracts while adhering to company pricing policies and compliance standards.
- Oversee the full sales cycle—including order processing, invoicing, and timely reporting—ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal procedures.
- Track sales performance against KPIs, generate actionable insights, and implement corrective measures when variances from targets occur.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and finance teams to align promotional initiatives and forecast demand.
- Mentor and coach junior sales staff, fostering a collaborative culture that encourages continuous improvement and professional growth.
Requirements
- Female candidates preferred.
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any discipline.
- At least 2–3 years of proven experience in B2B sales or marketing, preferably within industrial or commercial sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate persuasively, negotiate complex deals, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical mindset with the capability to interpret market data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working independently as well as leading a cross‑functional team.
- Proficiency in sales administration tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Flexibility to work Monday‑Saturday, 09:00‑17:00, with occasional travel within the Balikpapan region.
