Introduction
We are seeking a meticulous Ahli Quality Assurance & Pengujian Produk to join our fast‑growing cosmetics manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in safeguarding product integrity from raw material receipt through final packaging, ensuring compliance with Indonesian BPOM regulations and international best practices. This full‑time position operates Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, and offers the chance to develop expertise in a dynamic FMCG environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor critical production steps such as filling, mixing, and packing to verify that each operation follows established SOPs.
- Perform line clearance checks before each production run, confirming that equipment is clean, calibrated, and free of cross‑contamination.
- Review batch documentation (SOP, WI, COA, Batch Record) for completeness and accuracy prior to product release.
- Identify, document, and investigate process deviations; initiate root‑cause analysis and corrective actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate internal and external audits, preparing required legal and regulatory documents.
- Maintain up‑to‑date quality documentation, including change control logs, risk assessments, and training records.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and supply‑chain teams to ensure smooth hand‑offs and consistent product quality.
- Support complaint handling by evaluating consumer feedback, conducting investigations, and implementing preventive measures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process optimisations based on data trends and industry benchmarks.
- Stay informed on the latest CPKB (Cara Pembuatan Kosmetik yang Baik) standards and BPOM regulatory updates, translating them into actionable SOP revisions.
Requirements
- Minimum D3/S1 degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or Chemical Engineering.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in QA/QC within the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or FMCG sector (fresh graduates with strong internships are welcome).
- Solid understanding of CPKB guidelines and BPOM cosmetic regulations.
- Proven ability to navigate the end‑to‑end maklon (contract manufacturing) process, from raw material qualification to finished‑goods release.
- Strong attention to detail, a disciplined approach to SOP adherence, and excellent documentation skills.
- Experience with internal & external audit procedures, deviation handling, CAPA, and complaint management.
- Technical competencies: control of change, document audit, risk assessment, and analytical report interpretation.
- Soft skills: effective communication, teamwork, problem‑solving mindset, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high quality standards.
