Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Kasir Penjualan Retail with a strong background in customer service to join our dynamic retail team. Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, processing cash, debit, credit, and digital payments with a focus on accuracy.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide product recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, performing regular reconciliations and reporting any discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock counts, shelf replenishment, and updating product information in the system.
- Collaborate with sales associates and floor staff to ensure smooth store operations and a welcoming atmosphere.
- Prepare daily sales reports, monitor key performance indicators, and communicate findings to the store manager.
- Uphold store policies regarding returns, exchanges, and promotions while adhering to all regulatory compliance standards.
- Support promotional events and seasonal sales campaigns, ensuring proper pricing and signage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, including regular equipment checks and troubleshooting minor technical issues.
- Demonstrate flexibility by stepping in to assist in other store areas during peak periods or staff shortages.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA, SMK, or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a cashier or in a similar retail customer‑service role.
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail for accurate cash handling.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- High level of initiative and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Demonstrated capability to work effectively under pressure, especially during peak shopping hours.
- Proficiency with standard POS software and basic computer literacy.
- Flexibility to work the scheduled hours: Monday‑Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
