Introduction
PT Retail Vision Indonesia is expanding its merchandising team across the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). We are looking for a diligent, energetic, and detail‑oriented Merchandiser – Penata Tampilan Produk di Toko Ritel who is comfortable working in the field on a motorbike. This role is essential for ensuring that our product range is always well‑presented, fully stocked, and accurately reported in the stores we serve. The successful candidate will travel daily to retail outlets, verify display standards, capture photographic evidence, and provide timely reports to the regional supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Visit assigned retail locations in Jakarta, Tangerang, Depok, and Bekasi on a scheduled route, ensuring punctual arrival and departure.
- Check that all product facings, shelf placements, and promotional materials match the company’s visual merchandising guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels on‑site, identify low‑stock situations, and coordinate replenishment requests with the supply‑chain team.
- Capture high‑resolution photos of displays, out‑of‑stock items, and any compliance issues using a smartphone or tablet.
- Prepare and submit daily activity reports, including photos, stock counts, and any deviations from planograms.
- Provide feedback to store managers on merchandising best practices, helping them improve layout, signage, and product visibility.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the use of rain gear and chest protectors while riding.
- Continuously update knowledge of new routes, store locations, and traffic patterns to optimize travel efficiency.
- Act as the brand’s on‑the‑ground ambassador, representing the company with professionalism, honesty, and clear communication.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only, age 27 years or younger.
- Active SIM C license and ownership of a reliable motorbike.
- Strong observational skills – able to notice subtle issues in product placement and store conditions.
- Proficiency with digital communication tools (smartphone, camera, basic reporting apps).
- Excellent verbal communication; ability to build rapport with store staff and supervisors.
- Highly disciplined, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently without constant supervision.
- Physical ability to handle daily travel, carry light equipment, and work in various weather conditions.
- Adaptability to new routes, changing schedules, and evolving merchandising standards.
- Basic analytical mindset – able to interpret stock data and suggest improvements.
