Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Merchandiser Penjualan to join our dynamic sales team in Purwokerto. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast‑paced retail environments and possess a strong passion for FMCG and personal care products. As a key link between our brand and the retail outlets, you will play a pivotal part in driving product visibility, increasing shelf share, and ultimately boosting sales performance across the region.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute daily visits to 20+ retail stores, covering a portfolio of 80‑150 outlets.
- Present product ranges, explain features, and conduct on‑site merchandising to maximize shelf impact.
- Negotiate pricing, promotions, and placement agreements with store managers and owners.
- Take accurate orders, process purchase orders (PO), and ensure timely delivery in coordination with distributor partners.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records of sales activity, stock levels, and market feedback using company CRM tools.
- Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with retailers, addressing concerns and providing exceptional after‑sales support.
- Collaborate closely with the Area Supervisor to report performance metrics and align on territory growth strategies.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and consumer preferences to identify new sales opportunities.
- Ensure that all product displays comply with brand guidelines and local regulations.
- Utilize personal transportation to efficiently cover the assigned geographic area and meet daily visit targets.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA) / Vocational (SMK) or equivalent; any major is acceptable.
- Maximum age of 35 years.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience in the FMCG or personal care sector.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a customer‑centric attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a large outlet portfolio (80‑150 stores) and achieve daily visit quotas.
- Good understanding of retail display standards, merchandising techniques, and order‑taking processes.
- Possession of a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work on an outsourcing basis and to join the team immediately.
- Preferably a resident of Purwokerto or surrounding areas to reduce travel time.
