This full‑time position offers a stable schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, and provides an excellent opportunity for a skilled female seamstress to showcase her expertise in a supportive, results‑driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and sew school uniform components (shirts, skirts, trousers, blazers) according to approved patterns and specifications.
- Perform repairs and alterations on damaged or ill‑fitting garments, ensuring the final product meets strict quality standards.
- Maintain an organized workstation, keeping fabrics, threads, and tools neatly arranged for efficient workflow.
- Track inventory of raw materials and finished products, reporting low stock levels to the production manager.
- Collaborate with school administrators and teachers to understand uniform requirements, deadlines, and any special design requests.
- Operate and maintain sewing machines, overlockers, and pressing equipment, performing routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Conduct final inspections for stitching accuracy, seam strength, and overall finish before garments are packaged for delivery.
- Document work progress in daily logs, noting any issues that may affect production timelines.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Female candidates only.
- Experience: At least 0 years of professional sewing experience; prior work in school uniform production is highly valued.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in hand‑sewing, machine sewing, fabric cutting, and basic garment construction.
- Soft Skills: Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, discipline, and excellent communication abilities.
