Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their tables, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, answer menu questions, and make recommendations based on daily specials.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and point‑of‑sale (POS) system entries with precision and honesty.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and surrounding areas, resetting stations quickly between guests.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate order timing and address any special dietary requests.
- Monitor inventory of condiments, napkins, and other service items, notifying supervisors when restocking is needed.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper hand‑washing and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with opening and closing duties such as setting up dining rooms, polishing cutlery, and completing end‑of‑day reports.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, service techniques, and company policies.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑25 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders, with a current preference for female candidates as indicated by the client.
- Availability: Must be able to work full‑time, Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
- Enrollment Status: Not currently enrolled in a college or university program.
- Marital Status: Preferably single and without dependents, allowing flexible shift coverage.
- Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Key Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, basic food‑service knowledge, ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 kg, and move quickly between tables.
