Responsibilities
- Accurately cut, shape, and assemble wooden components according to technical drawings and dimensional specifications.
- Perform detailed finishing work, including sanding, coating, varnishing, and polishing, to achieve a flawless surface.
- Read and interpret basic measurements, blueprints, and work orders, ensuring precision in every piece.
- Operate a variety of woodworking machinery—such as table saws, routers, planers, and CNC machines—safely and efficiently.
- Conduct quality inspections at each production stage, identifying defects and implementing corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free workshop, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with designers, supervisors, and fellow craftsmen to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Provide suggestions for process improvements, tool maintenance, and material utilization to enhance overall efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience as a woodworker or carpenter in a furniture production environment.
- Proven ability to work with precision and a strong eye for detail.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and the capacity to work effectively within a team.
- Solid understanding of workplace safety, proper tool handling, and personal protective equipment usage.
- Additional advantage: experience with advanced finishing techniques (e.g., sanding, coating, lacquer application) and familiarity with export‑grade quality standards.
