Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, escorting them to their tables while presenting menus.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar, and ensure timely delivery.
- Provide detailed menu explanations, recommend daily specials, and address dietary restrictions or allergies.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing cutlery, and replenishing linens.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, promptly resolve any concerns, and follow up to ensure a positive experience.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems, issue receipts, and handle cash transactions responsibly.
- Collaborate with the kitchen to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered on schedule.
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in accordance with local regulations.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, such as stocking supplies, preparing workstations, and completing end‑of‑day reports.
- Continuously improve product knowledge through training sessions and stay updated on new menu items and promotions.
Requirements
- Male applicant, maximum age of 26 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a waiter in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting.
- Excellent grooming and personal presentation.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Ability to handle customer complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Flexibility to work the scheduled shift: Tuesday to Sunday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling payments and change.
