Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, accurately scanning items, processing cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Handle daily cash reconciliation, prepare cash‑up reports, and ensure all transactions are logged correctly.
- Welcome customers with a friendly demeanor, answer product‑related questions, and guide them through promotional offers.
- Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area, including the display of promotional materials and ensuring the availability of receipts, bags, and change.
- Assist in inventory checks, restocking of high‑traffic items, and reporting low‑stock situations to the store manager.
- Resolve minor customer complaints on the spot, escalating more complex issues to senior staff when necessary.
- Adhere to company policies on loss prevention, health & safety, and data protection of customer information.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay updated on new product lines, POS upgrades, and sales techniques.
Requirements
- Female candidates only, aged between 20 and 28 years.
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a cashier in a retail setting.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to perform quick and accurate calculations.
- Proficiency with cash register machines, POS software, and basic computer applications.
- Professional appearance, polite behavior, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work the scheduled hours of 08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Saturday.
